The author of this site is Trygve (pronounced "TRIG-VEE") Gaalaas.
I am self-employed. For the past nine years, I have run my own consulting firm, Hawk Consulting Services, Inc., which specializes in consulting to the energy and transportation industries (with a focus on coal and coal transportation.) I worked for other consulting firms for an additional 15 years before founding my own firm, so I have a total of 24 years of consulting experience.
I have a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia. I also minored in History while at UVa, and was only a few credits short of a double major in History and Commerce.
